Announce from NU-AAS


The application period for the first step of NU-AAS at the Graduate School/School of Engineering is from September 1, 2026 10:00 a.m. to September 18, 2026 5:00 p.m. (Japan Standard Time).
Applicants must contact their prospective supervisor before the application deadline. Only applicants who have obtained permission from their prospective supervisor to submit an application may apply through NU-AAS.
Before starting your application, please check the Application Checklist and use the latest versions of all required forms. Please also read the "Instructions for filling out the application form" in the Application Checklist before filling out the Application Form.



The first-step application for research students at the Graduate School/School of Humanities has been closed. All the applicants will be notified of the screening result by mid-April. Only the successful applicants will be invited to proceed to the second-step and must complete it by 12:00PM, May 8, 2026 (Japan Standard Time).

NU-AAS is opened for applicants to apply for the Research Student Program at the Graduate School / School of Informatics. The application period for the first step of NU-AAS is from February 16, 2026 10:00AM to March 19, 2026 12:00PM (Japan Standard Time).
